Dispatch Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day operations such as ensuring the efficient, accurate movement of shipments from pickup through final delivery. Working closely with the department lead and team, this role covers scheduling, dispatch, documentation, and day-to-day driver support in a fast-paced logistics environment contributing to operational efficiency and positive customer experiences.

Coordinator will work in the dispatch department but will need to collaborate with sales, warehouse, drivers, finance, and outside vendors. Looking for someone energetic and a fast learner. Will train person with the right potential.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Coordinate and communicate all activities concerning customers’ job/deliveries.

· Interact with customers and vendors to manage deliver status

· Track and report

· Data Entry

· Quality assurance

· Will collaborate directly with customers and provide timely information

REQUIREMENTS:

· Proficient at data entry and typing

· Strong customer service skills

· Detailed oriented

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Sound decision making ability

· Proven analytical ability and problem-solving skill

· Proficient with Microsoft Office

· Ability to easily learn new software and programs

· Experience in a transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment a plus

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
