Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious Dispatch Rider to handle the timely delivery and collection of packages, documents, and other items. The successful candidate will ensure that deliveries are completed efficiently, maintain the motorcycle in good condition, and provide professional service to customers.

Job Description

• Deliver packages, documents, goods, and other items to customers and designated locations promptly.
• Collect items from clients, suppliers, and business partners as instructed.
• Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Confirm the accuracy of items before dispatch and obtain proof of delivery when required.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections, and completed assignments.
• Ensure the motorcycle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Conduct routine checks on the motorcycle, including tyres, brakes, lights, and fuel levels.
• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company delivery procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and report delivery issues to the supervisor.
• Handle packages carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement.
• Keep receipts and account for expenses incurred during deliveries.
• Report accidents, mechanical faults, delays, or other incidents promptly.
• Perform other duties related to delivery and logistics as assigned.

Requirements/Skills

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a dispatch rider is an advantage.
• Valid motorcycle riding licence.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation applications.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to handle delivery assignments.
• Knowledge of basic motorcycle maintenance is an advantage.

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
