Dispatch Team Member

One of Europe’s leading prop hire companies, Farley, specialises in the hire of antique furniture and accessories to the film and television industry. Farley is looking for bright and committed individual to join its dispatch department.

The company was established in 1962 and is a family run business that prides itself on offering high quality products and excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities;

• Finding and preparing stock items, predominantly furniture, lighting and larger decorative objects, from the warehouses, ready for collection
• Packing goods neatly and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Liaising with the sales team regarding orders
• Checking goods in and out, according to the paperwork
• Maintaining the showrooms and displays, ensuring they’re kept fully stocked and are well presented at all times
• Attending deliveries in a range of locations around London and the wider area
• Displaying furniture for clients off site when necessary
• Following safe working procedures and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• Working closely with the wider dispatch team

The ideal applicant would be friendly, hardworking and a great team player. Being punctual and reliable are also essential. Previous experience in a warehouse/showroom environment would be preferred. Clean driving license also a plus.

We are based in West London, near to the Central Line. The position is full time, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£29,100.00 per year
