Responsibilities:

• Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch shipments.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate timely deliveries.
• Analyze data to optimize routes and maximize efficiency in freight movement.
• Ensure accurate data entry for tracking shipments and maintaining records.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving departments to streamline operations.
• Utilize phone systems to communicate with drivers and provide necessary instructions.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Experience:(3-4 YEARS REQUIRED)

• Prior experience in a dispatching role within a 3PL or transportation company is preferred.
• Familiarity with SyteLine or similar transportation management systems is a plus.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions for optimizing logistics operations.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and best practices in the industry.
