Dispatcher

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual Dispatcher to join our logistics team. In this role, you will coordinate daily freight movements, communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouses, and customers, and help ensure shipments are delivered on time.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required, as you will communicate with Chinese-speaking customers and overseas partners, as well as local drivers, carriers, and warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily pickup and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and customers in Mandarin and English.
• Track freight status and provide timely shipment updates.
• Arrange trucking, appointments, deliveries, and warehouse receiving.
• Enter shipment details, costs, and delivery information accurately into internal systems.
• Follow up on delays, missed appointments, damages, and other transportation issues.
• Maintain dispatch logs, shipping documents, and customer records.
• Assist with inbound and outbound freight coordination.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Strong communication, coordination, and customer-service skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using email, Excel, and transportation or warehouse systems.
• Logistics, dispatch, freight forwarding, trucking, or warehouse experience is preferred.
• No experience is required for the right candidate; training can be provided.
• Must be able to work onsite in Concord, Ontario.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
