Dispatcher

Shift is 07:00- 15:30 M-F

Essential Responsibilities:

• Enter all customer load information is entered into the system; To include Shipper, CNEE, Customer, Contact, pieces, weight, Ref#, dimensions and all other mandatory fields.
• Schedule driver’s loads or plan anything needing picked up 2 hours prior scheduled time or prior to 10 AM the next day.
• Keep drivers updated on any changes and keep their locations updated
• Keep customers informed of any changes delays or extra charges via system notes, emails and/or by phone
• Insure that drivers are on time to shippers and consignees.
• Update Whiteboard and order notes with all calls
• Provide the following shift a status report
• Update vehicle screen with driver locations throughout the day and before shift ends
• Follow DOT regulations
• Any other responsibility deemed necessary by the management
• Load and unload trucks
• utilize forklift and pallet jacks to arrange warehouse freight
• Spearhead customer projects

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

• Help drivers with directions - Provide phone numbers for help
• Populating customer information in system with phone numbers, correct addresses and directions when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,850.00 - $44,873.00 per year
