Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product offerings, including conducting product demos when appropriate
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring secure cash management
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain attractive displays to enhance the shopping experience
• Assist with inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering upselling opportunities, and maintaining professional phone etiquette
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to company standards and promotional plans

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
• Supervising experience or ability to oversee daily store operations when needed
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in English and bilingual options preferred
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
