Please note that- we are seeking individuals with 1+ year of experience in the regulated cannabis industry to be seriously considered for the Curator positions at our dispensary.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Educate customers about various cannabis products, including their effects, benefits, and consumption methods.
• Provide personalized recommendations based on individual customer needs and preferences.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring all products are accurately labeled and displayed.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations to ensure a safe and compliant shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and contribute to the overall success of the dispensary.
• Occasional outside delivering cannabis products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations regarding cannabis delivery. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and inventory.

Pay range: $20 to $22 per hour

Required skills

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have 1+ years regulated cannabis industry experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Familiarity of NYC public transportation and ability to ride a bike.
• Familiarity with local and state cannabis regulations.
• Reliable transportation Passion for cannabis and commitment to promoting responsible use.

Desired skills

• Strong interpersonal skill and self starter mentality
• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred seniority

Overall: Entry level (less than 2 years)

Cannabis industry: Some (1-2 years) or higher
