Dispensary Technician / Webster Packer

About the Role:

At Chemist King, we are committed to serving our local community and ensuring the well-being of our patients, including those residing in nursing homes. We are currently seeking a Webster Packer / Dispense Technician to join our team, focusing on medication packing and dispensing for both our local community and nursing home patients. This role will be approx 20-25 hrs/wk (some Saturdays 9am - 1pm may be required).

• Provide exceptional customer service to both community members and nursing home residents.
• Demonstrate competent computer skills.
• Accurately and safely pack medications for both community and nursing home patients.
• Upkeep and record management.
• Work in a team environment with the ability to work unsupervised after training program has been completed.
• Delivering health promotion programs as required.

About you:

• Previous experience as a Dispense Technician is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication packing and dispensing (essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with patients and nursing home staff.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
