Dispenser / Trainee Dispenser
30+ Hours per Week | Monday to Friday

Merstow Green Medical Practice is looking to recruit a motivated and patient-focused Dispenser or Trainee Dispenser to join our friendly and hardworking team.

This is a varied role where the successful candidate will become an important member of our Dispensary and Patient Liaison Team, undertaking dispensing duties alongside reception and administrative responsibilities to support the smooth running of the practice and provide excellent service to our patients.

The role will include:

• Dispensing prescription medications and assisting with dispensary operations
• Reception duties, including patient enquiries and appointment management
• Administrative tasks supporting the clinical and management teams
• Assisting with the practice delivery service
• Providing a professional, courteous and efficient service to patients

Essential requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good organisational and IT skills
• Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
• A flexible and positive approach to teamwork
• Full UK driving licence, as participation in the practice delivery service is required

Previous dispensing experience is desirable for qualified dispensers; however, full training will be provided for a suitable trainee applicant.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
