Dispensing Optician

• Great optics
• Great people
• A practice with an incredible story

Rose Optometry is looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join their friendly, progressive Hamilton team. Bring your expertise to a practice known for exceptional eye care and innovation, where interesting, complex work comes with a supportive team and a genuinely great workplace.

Why Rose?

For all the expertise and technology at Rose, people remain at the heart of the practice. The culture is built around respect, friendliness, initiative, integrity and connection. People communicate well, support one another, take ownership and pitch in when things get busy.

You'll be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas, embrace new technology and keep developing professionally. It's progressive but down-to-earth, this is somewhere you can take your profession seriously without taking yourself too seriously.

For you, that means interesting work, continued learning and exposure to eye care you may not experience in a typical practice.

The Role

You'll combine your technical dispensing expertise with exceptional patient care, including:

• Spectacle dispensing, frame selection and lens advice
• Accurate measurements, adjustments and repairs
• Pre-testing and patient preparation
• Using diagnostic technology including OCT, topography and visual fields
• Patient education and support
• Stock management and supplier liaison
• ACC, ENABLE, insurance and general invoicing
• Embracing new technology and ways of working

This is a chance to use your expertise, work with modern technology and be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

What you'll bring

You'll bring strong dispensing experience, great attention to detail and a warm, confident approach with patients. You'll also be curious, adaptable and keen to keep developing.

If you're ready for a fresh opportunity with interesting work, great people and a practice that's always looking ahead, we'd love to hear from you.
