Dispensing Pharmacist – Long Term Care

Full-Time | Salt Lake City, UT | $50.48–$84.62/hour

Omnicare, a CVS Health company, is seeking a Dispensing Pharmacist to join our long-term care pharmacy team. This is a closed-door, non-customer-facing pharmacy supporting long-term care facilities.

Schedule

• Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday within pharmacy hours of 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Weekend coverage as scheduled, approximately 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Schedule based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Review and accurately dispense medication orders
• Verify orders entered by pharmacy technicians
• Ensure accuracy of medication labels, packaging and refills
• Maintain pharmacy security and inventory
• Support timely medication delivery to long-term care facilities
• Follow applicable state, federal and DEA regulations
• Maintain HIPAA and pharmacy compliance
• Assist with sterile IV preparation and related services as required
• Provide weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Required

• Active Utah Pharmacist license in good standing

Preferred

• Long-term care pharmacy experience
• IV certification or experience
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain

Compensation & Benefits

$50.48–$84.62/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
