Disputes Lawyer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Australian law firm in its Brisbane Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. You’ll work alongside experienced and highly regarded partners and lawyers, advising a diverse portfolio of quality Australian and international clients across complex and interesting matters.

As a Commercial Litigation Lawyer, you’ll have the opportunity to build your expertise across a broad range of commercial disputes and litigation matters, working directly with clients and senior lawyers in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your work will include matters involving:

• Contractual and commercial disputes
• Property and leasing disputes
• Corporations Act and insolvency disputes
• Regulatory matters
• Administrative law
• Insolvency and recoveries
• Information technology and intellectual property

You’ll be joining a growing practice where your contribution will be valued and where there is genuine opportunity to develop your technical expertise, client relationships and broader legal career.

About You

We’re looking for a lawyer with 2–5 years’ post-admission experience who has developed experience in general commercial litigation and is keen to take the next step in their career.

You will ideally bring:

• Strong commercial litigation experience
• Excellent technical legal and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine client-focused approach
• A desire to continue developing your legal career and expertise
