Job title: DCS / Control Room Operator

Work Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Offshore Installation Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for monitoring and controlling offshore oil & gas production operations through the DCS/Control Room systems . Monitor process parameters, alarms, equipment status, and ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, and related control systems.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other process parameters.
• Respond to alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and emergency operating procedures.
• Maintain shift logs, production reports, and proper shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE and operational procedures .

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or related discipline
• 10+ years of Experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• Relevant experience in offshore oil & gas/process operations.
• DCS/Control Room operating experience preferred.
• Valid BOSIET/FOET and offshore medical fitness .

Good communication, troubleshooting, and safety awareness.
