Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
Four 10-hour shifts per week

fit-flavors is a fast-growing, faith-driven meal prep company committed to delivering fresh, chef-crafted meals and an exceptional customer experience. Our distribution team plays a critical role in getting the right meals to the right places, on time, and in excellent condition.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Distribution Associate who takes ownership of their work, communicates proactively, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You'll Do

Order Fulfillment & Inventory

• Pick, verify, and pack orders accurately using invoices and packing logs.
• Ensure every order is correctly labeled, sealed, and ready for delivery.
• Maintain cooler organization and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to protect product quality and food safety.
• Complete and document daily cooler inventory counts after order fulfillment.
• Remove expired products and keep the cooler clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
• Print, organize, and maintain accurate invoices and delivery paperwork.

Delivery & Vehicle Operations

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Organize products by route to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
• Complete deliveries to Fit-Flavors stores, residential customers, and wholesale partners professionally and on schedule.
• Maintain clean, fueled, and delivery-ready company vehicles.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, delivery delays, and other issues promptly.
• Handle meals and delivery materials carefully to prevent damage and maintain proper temperatures.

Teamwork & Daily Operations

• Coordinate with Kitchen, Packaging, and Store teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely deliveries.
• Communicate actively through Slack regarding delivery updates, order discrepancies, inventory concerns, and vehicle issues.
• Manage delivery supplies, ice packs, boxes, and recycled materials efficiently.
• Adapt to changing routes, shifting priorities, and unexpected challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support the overall success of the Distribution department.

• Every order is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Meals arrive in excellent condition and at the appropriate temperature.
• Cooler organization, product rotation, and inventory records are consistently maintained.
• Delivery paperwork is accurate and complete before orders leave the facility.
• Vehicles and equipment are clean, maintained, and ready for use.
• Communication with leadership and other departments is proactive and professional.
• You take ownership of your responsibilities and can work independently without constant supervision.
• Every customer interaction reflects the quality and hospitality standards of Fit-Flavors.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Must have a clean driving record for the past 7 years (since 2019)
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work at a steady, fast pace for extended periods.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and cold-storage environments.
• Ability to safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Ability to work the scheduled Sunday–Wednesday shift, starting at 5:00 AM.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English for invoices, Slack messages, inventory records, and delivery confirmations.
