NEEDED: Electrical Engineer

MetaOps Inc. has an immediate need for Electrical Engineers for immediate fractional assignments with customers in the Midwest USA.

What you’d do

Every client we have will have different expectations, but in general, you’d be responsible for taking a consultant role in a wide range of activities. These could be providing expert electrical engineering services to public power utilities throughout the Midwest. This role requires a strong understanding of public power utility operations, regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful project management, contract administration, and bid response preparation.

Most assignments are fractional, but flexibility to accommodate your personal situation is possible. If you’re not local to an assignment, clients will pay reasonable travel and living expenses for the duration of the assignment.

Requirements to be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on public power utilities.
• Strong understanding of power system analysis and design.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Overhead Power Engineering experience
