Distribution Executive

Job Descriptions:

• To lead and manage end-to-end distribution operations across Klang Valley, ensuring efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery performance.
• To take ownership of implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Supply Chain Management (SCM) distribution processes for distribution operations in Klang Valley.
• To act as the key Delivery Management System (DMS) lead for Selangor drivers, ensuring effective system utilization and operational compliance.
• To oversee daily delivery execution and ensure all shipments are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with operational standards and service requirements.
• To manage and optimize a fleet of 11 trucks, primarily refrigerated vehicles, ensuring proper handling, maintenance, and transportation of temperature-sensitive products.
• To manage and coordinate third-party logistics (3PL) transporters, including invoice verification, Proof of Delivery (POD) compliance, and adherence to agreed commercial terms and service levels.
• To drive team performance, accountability, and operational excellence in achieving service level targets and business objectives.
• To perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Degree/Diploma/Certificate in in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Materials, Logistics, Transportation Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' working experience, preferable from FMCG, food trade services or manufacturing while experience in import shipment arrangement, inventory management and logistics would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in customs requirements and procedures, delivery arrangement on food products will be added advantage.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to identify opportunities, develop and implement continuous improvement process.
• Supervisory skills and ability to work well in team environment.
• Good communication (written & verbal) skills in English.
