Distribution Head - Sales

Role & responsibilities;

• Develop and execute the overall distribution strategy for solar PV modules across India.
• Build, expand and manage a strong network of distributors, dealers, channel partners and stockiest
• Drive primary and secondary sales through the distribution network and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify and develop new markets, territories, distributors and dealers to expand the company's market reach.
• Prepare state-wise, region-wise and territory-wise distribution and sales plans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers and channel partners.
• Monitor distributor-wise, territory-wise, state-wise and product-wise sales performance.
• Develop strategies to improve channel productivity, sales velocity and market penetration.
• Manage distributor appointment, territory allocation, channel expansion and partner performance.
• Develop and implement channel margins, pricing, incentive, schemes and promotional programs in coordination with management.
• Monitor market pricing, competitor pricing, distributor margins and overall channel profitability.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Proven experience in managing national/regional distributor and dealer networks.
• Strong understanding of solar module distribution, channel sales, secondary sales and market development.
• Established relationships with distributors/dealers across multiple Indian markets will be preferred.
• Experience in managing large sales/channel teams.
