Distribution Hub Associate

The Distribution Hub Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the distribution hub, including receiving, inventory control, product preparation, labeling, staging, packing, and delivery support. This position ensures products are accurately received, processed, tracked, prepared, and transferred in accordance with company procedures and all applicable state regulations.

The Distribution Hub Associate will work closely with the Hub Manager, Hub Supervisor, and other Hub Associates to maintain accurate inventory, complete internal transfers, prepare products for delivery, and ensure all distribution activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and compliantly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming products and verify quantities, product information, and physical condition against required documentation

• Track incoming and outgoing products through Dutchie and METRC

• Maintain accurate physical and digital inventory counts

• Perform inventory counts, reconciliations, and investigations of discrepancies as directed

• Create and maintain METRC tags as required to properly prepare batches and products for delivery

• Prepare, label, sticker, and organize products for outgoing deliveries in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

• Pick and pack products against approved internal transfer orders

• Assist with case splitting, repacking, labeling, and preparation of products for distribution

• Stage completed orders for delivery and ensure all products are properly organized prior to load-out

• Assist with inbound quality control, counting, inspection, and put-away of products

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update Dutchie and METRC with incoming, outgoing, and transferred products

• Assist with the preparation and organization of products and documentation required for delivery runs

• Safely load and secure products for transportation in accordance with company procedures

• Drive company vehicles to transport products between authorized locations as assigned

• Complete delivery routes safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all company policies and applicable laws and regulations

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage, staging, packing, and loading areas

• Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and properly

• Dispose of obsolete or unusable inventory as directed

• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, missing items, or other operational concerns to the appropriate member of management

• Work in collaboration with all members of the Distribution Hub team to ensure operational and production standards are consistently met

• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of products, inventory, delivery information, and company records

• Demonstrate accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail while completing assigned tasks in a timely manner

• Be available to work weekends, holidays, and/or off-hours as operational needs require

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Previous inventory, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or delivery experience preferred

• Data entry, math, and computer skills

• Working knowledge of Dutchie and METRC, or the ability to quickly learn and become proficient in both systems

• Ability to accurately enter, update, and verify inventory information in Dutchie and METRC

• Ability to create and manage METRC tags and properly associate tags with products and batches prepared for delivery

• Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with peers and leadership

• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment

• Basic Excel, Word, and general computer knowledge

• Fast, efficient, organized, and adaptable

• Experience working in an environment with a great deal of constructive feedback and input

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings

• Full knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times, including staying current on applicable changes to laws and regulations

• Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry

• Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation

• Must have excellent organization and time-management skills

• Must be focused and pay close attention to detail

• Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

• Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move products and equipment as required

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Must maintain a clean and acceptable driving record and meet all company requirements for operating company vehicles

• Must be willing and able to drive company vehicles as part of assigned delivery and distribution responsibilities

• Must demonstrate safe and responsible driving practices at all times while operating a company vehicle
