Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee and improve our distribution and logistics operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily distribution activities, managing delivery performance, supporting warehouse operations, and working with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily distribution and delivery operations.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers, logistics providers, warehouses, and customers.
• Monitor delivery schedules, order accuracy, and service performance.
• Plan delivery routes and allocate resources efficiently.
• Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service teams.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate distribution records.
• Track key operational performance indicators and prepare regular reports.
• Identify operational issues and implement practical improvements.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics and transportation providers.
• Ensure distribution activities follow company procedures and applicable Singapore requirements.
• Support budgeting and control operating costs where appropriate.
• Lead, train, and support distribution staff to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Handle delivery issues, customer escalations, and operational disruptions promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with logistics systems, inventory systems, or Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing logistics teams or third-party logistics providers is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore logistics and delivery operations is an advantage.
