Distribution Manager- Electronic components

An established global manufacturer is looking for a Distribution Manager to take ownership of its UK distributor network and turn data, relationships and commercial insight into growth.

The job is hands-on. You'll dig into POS, stock, backlog and forecast data to find problems and opportunities, then sit down with distributors and get something done about them.

What you'll do

• Own the relationships, targets and performance of the key distributors
• Analyse POS, inventory, backlog and forecast data
• Agree stock levels and forecasts with distributors and internal teams
• Handle pricing, special price requests and ship-and-debit claims
• Get new products launched through the channel
• Spot gaps in channel performance and fix them
• Turn what the data says into commercial decisions

Who we're after

You're commercial and analytical, and you're comfortable pushing back on a distributor when the numbers don't add up. You can influence people and keep things moving.

You'll need:

• Strong Excel skills
• ERP experience
• A solid grasp of how the distribution model works
• The commercial instinct to turn data into decisions

We don't mind whether you've come from a manufacturer or a distributor. What counts is that you know how the channel works and how to make it perform better.
