DISTRIBUTION OFFICER

The Distribution Management Officer is responsible for managing and supporting distributors to ensure products are delivered efficiently and sales targets are achieved. The role monitors distributor performance, provides training and guidance, analyzes sales and market trends, and works closely with internal teams to improve distribution and customer service. The officer also identifies business opportunities and helps implement strategies to grow the company’s market presence and strengthen distributor partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the distributor and ensure business goals are met.
• Ensure continuous development to enhance the distributor’s product knowledge, sales skills and customer service capabilities.
• Implement data-driven approaches to monitor sales trends, identify opportunities and address challenges in the distribution network.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for expansion within the national market.
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted strategies for the regional/local market.
• Monitor the distributor/s and support their development by sharing markets and customers insights, training and coaching them on the field, recommending potential changes on a strategic and/or operational level, providing them with any information or support needed.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree of a business course or related field
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial drive.
• Has a minimum of five (5) years of experience in General trade and Modern trade and at least two (2) years of Distributor management.
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills
• With good communication skills both spoken and written
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Computer literate; proficient in Windows applications
• Pro-active, highly motivated and can work in a fast-paced environment
