Distribution Planning

• Responsible for managing efficient and effective distribution to customers based on current distribution SOP.
• Monitor and maximize branch transportation assets utilization
• Responsible for identifying qualified third-party transporters and proposing to relevant parties
• Seek third party transporter that complies with existing SOP and SHE standard
• Conduct periodic evaluation on third party transporter provider performance especially on safety compliance and report to Distribution
• This position is for one of the AKR Group for the lubricant business PT Anugerah Lubrindo Raya

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Management, or a related field with minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, or Supply Chain, with at least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial/supervisory position.
• Proven experience in sourcing, selecting, evaluating, and managing transporters/transportation vendors.
• Strong understanding of distribution planning, delivery scheduling, route planning, fleet allocation, and delivery management.
• Ability to build and develop a strong transporter network to ensure the availability of transportation resources across various regions.
• Ability to plan transportation requirements based on order volume, delivery area, vehicle type, and delivery schedule.
• Good understanding of transportation costs, freight rates, cost efficiency, and transporter pricing structures.
• Strong negotiation skills related to rates, availability, service levels, payment terms, and transporter agreements/contracts.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in shipment volume, customer requirements, operational conditions, and transporter availability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/TMS/Logistics Management Systems; experience with a Transportation Planning System is an advantage.
