Distribution Route Manager

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organized Distribution Route Manager to oversee daily delivery operations and ensure efficient distribution of goods. In this role, you will coordinate routes, manage product, and maintain high standards of safety, customer service, and operational excellence.

Duties

• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
• Adherence to safety protocols and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Build strong relationships with retail store clients through effective communication and excellent customer service.
• Monitor delivery performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Assist with pricing strategies for deliveries and upselling opportunities to increase sales revenue.
• Coordinate with manufacture and staff for accurate merchandise purchase and loading.

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
• Basic math skills for route calculations, pricing adjustments, and inventory management.
• Experience in retail store environments or customer relationship building is a plus.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $57,600.00 - $96,000.00 per year
