Distribution Warehouse Supervisor – Fixed Term (3–6 Months)

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a 3–6 month fixed-term contract, with an immediate start.

This is a hands-on distribution role suited to someone who is comfortable managing people, working at pace, and getting stuck into the day-to-day operation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently across a high-volume SKU environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily distribution and warehouse operation, while actively working alongside the team to keep things moving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting a warehouse/distribution team
• Coordinating daily picking, packing and dispatch activities
• Hands-on involvement in pick and pack operations
• Managing high volumes of SKUs and orders
• Ensuring accuracy, productivity and on-time dispatch
• Using SAP Business One and .WMS software  to manage inventory and warehouse processes
• Monitoring stock movements and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Supporting warehouse processes, systems and continuous improvement
• Ensuring health & safety and operational procedures are followed
• Troubleshooting day-to-day distribution issues and keeping the operation running smoothly

What You’ll Bring – Must Haves

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Proven experience in a distribution, warehouse or logistics supervisor role in New Zealand
• Strong experience with SAP Business One
• Previous experience using a .WMS software
• Proven staff/team management experience
• A hands-on approach — you’re happy to pick, pack and work alongside the team
• Experience working with large volumes of SKUs and orders
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Full legal rights to work in New Zealand
• Availability for an immediate start
