Distribution/Delivery Team Member (part-time)

Basic Functions

Distribution Team Members are responsible for executing the day-to-day delivery and transportation of finished goods to dispensaries. This role ensures products are loaded and transported safely, deliveries are completed on time, and all customer interactions are professional and service-focused. Team Members must be adaptable, reliable, and safety-conscious, with a strong working knowledge of our product offerings and delivery protocols.

Essential Functions

Operational Excellence

• Safely operate company vehicles for delivery, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety standards
• Load, unload, and securely transport products to dispensaries, ensuring the integrity of products during transit
• Navigate routes accurately using GPS and company-provided guidance, ensuring timely deliveries
• Provide professional and customer-focused interactions during deliveries
• Represent One Orijin professionally in appearance, conduct, and communication
• Build and maintain positive relationships with dispensary staff, including gathering feedback during deliveries
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all One Orijin products to confidently answer customer questions and provide information.
• Report any delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or customer feedback to the Distribution Lead
• Help maintain organization and cleanliness of distribution areas

Team Leadership

• Adapt quickly and effectively to changes in daily assignments, delivery routes, schedules, or operational procedures based on business needs
• Assist with warehouse operations when not assigned to delivery routes
• Support inventory management activities including receiving, pulling, and staging
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned

Compliance

• Complete all required delivery documentation accurately and timely, including mileage logs and delivery records
• Properly handle and document cash/check payments in accordance with company policies
• Follow all security protocols and compliance procedures related to product transportation
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with company policy

• Distribution Supervisor

Supervises

• This role has no supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Able to obtain Ohio State Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) card
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Highly detail oriented with strong attention to compliance requirements
• Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Previous route delivery driving experience
• Logistics or warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge of Ohio geography and roadways preferred

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving
• Must be able to stand and walk during loading, unloading, and deliveries
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in variable weather conditions
• Able to safely navigate loading docks and dispensary receiving areas

Employment Status

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
