Distributor Specialist

Role Overview

As a Distributor Specialist for Suyen Corporation’s Sales Department, you will be responsible for driving volume growth and expanding market penetration through our third-party distributor networks, wholesale partners, and institutional accounts. You will act as the primary link between the corporate sales division and our distributors, ensuring that Suyen products (particularly high-volume items like personal care, fragrances, cosmetics, and consumer goods) are widely available, competitively positioned, and meeting sales targets across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

🤝 Distributor Account Management & Expansion

• Manage, evaluate, and support assigned third-party distributors, wholesalers, and key sub-distributors to achieve monthly and annual purchase and sales targets.
• Conduct regular market visits to audit distributor warehouses, monitor inventory levels (ensuring optimal stock rotation and preventing out-of-stock scenarios), and assess on-shelf availability.
• Identify, screen, and onboard potential new distributors or sub-dealers to expand brand footprint into unpenetrated territories or alternative channels.

📈 Sales Strategy & Trade Marketing Execution

• Formulate and implement territory-specific sales plans, volume targets, and trade promotion programs in alignment with the corporate sales strategy.
• Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to execute product launches, merchandising guidelines, and localized consumer promos within the distributor channels.
• Negotiate distributor agreements, trading terms, and volume discounts within approved corporate pricing structures.

📊 Performance Tracking & Financial Coordination

• Review and analyze distributor sales data (sell-in and sell-out reports) to identify market trends, forecast demand, and address performance gaps.
• Monitor distributor accounts receivable, credit limits, and collection schedules to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debts.
• Consolidate field feedback regarding competitor activities, pricing shifts, and local market demands to present actionable insights to Sales Management.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1–2 years of solid experience in Account Management, Channel Sales, or Distributor Management, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), cosmetics, or retail distribution industries.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Skills: * Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and B2B client management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel (data analysis, sales forecasting, pivot tables).
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing field sales operations.
• Attributes: Proactive, highly driven, and resilient with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively for field audits, distributor meetings, and market monitoring within assigned regional territories. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
