District Business Manager (m/w/d)

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven District Business Manager to lead a high-performing sales organization, accelerate profitable growth, and strengthen customer partnerships across the region. This leadership role combines strategic business development, team leadership, and customer engagement within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 8 sales professionals and 3 Application Engineers.
• Own and grow an annual business portfolio of approximately USD 31M.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers while acquiring new strategic accounts.
• Drive market share growth and profitable business expansion.
• Implement sales excellence through CRM, CAP, DCX and reporting processes.
• Develop sales plans, KPIs, customer strategies and action plans.
• Conduct market, competition and business analysis to identify opportunities.
• Lead talent acquisition, coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Production Plants and Corporate Functions.

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in industrial markets.
• Ideally, Experience in machine tools, metal cutting or mechanical engineering industries preferred.
• Strong leadership experience with a track record of building engaged teams.
• International business exposure and change management experience.
• Excellent commercial acumen, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
