District Manager

Lead the performance of approximately 6-8 restaurants across Auckland through a team of General Managers.

This is a senior multi-site leadership role with responsibility for commercial performance, people capability, operational standards and supporting the continued growth of the restaurant network.

Key Responsibilities

• Own sales, profit and operational performance across the area of responsibility
• Lead, coach and challenge 6-8 General Managers
• Use P&L and operational data to identify opportunities and drive action
• Improve restaurant standards, customer experience and commercial results
• Build leadership capability, succession and stronger management teams
• Hold Restaurant General Managers accountable for performance and agreed targets
• Drive consistency across food safety, health and safety and day-to-day operations
• Support restaurant refurbishments, image modernisation projects and new openings
• Work closely with the Director of Operations and wider support teams
• Contribute ideas and insight that improve broader business performance

Skills & Experience

• Proven multi-site leadership experience
• Experience leading managers across several locations
• Strong commercial and P&L capability
• Demonstrated success improving sales, profitability and operating standards
• Strong coaching and people development skills
• Experience developing succession and future leaders
• Confident decision-making and sound commercial judgement
• Strong communication and relationship-building capability
• Experience in QSR, hospitality, retail or another high-volume customer business
• Experience with new openings or refurbishments is advantageous
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence

Reports to: Director of Operations, New Zealand
Direct reports: Approximately 6-8 General Restaurant Managers
Travel: Regular travel across the Auckland restaurant network
