Dive Manager

Papua Diving Resorts is looking for an experienced and passionate Dive Manager to lead our dive operations and ensure safe, professional, and memorable diving experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily diving operations of the resort
• Lead and coordinate the team of Dive Guides, Instructors, and boat crews
• Ensure all diving activities are conducted safely and according to company procedures and international diving standards
• Plan and coordinate daily dive schedules based on guest requirements, weather, sea conditions, and operational capacity
• Conduct regular briefings with the diving team and ensure clear communication regarding dive sites, guests, and safety procedures
• Monitor the performance, discipline, and professionalism of the diving team
• Ensure all diving equipment, boats, compressors, and related equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and diving-related complaints professionally
• Ensure proper documentation and records of diving activities, equipment, incidents, and maintenance
• Respond appropriately to diving emergencies and ensure emergency and safety procedures are followed

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in professional diving operations, preferably in a dive resort or liveaboard environment

• Previous experience as a Dive Manager, Head Dive Guide, Dive Instructor, or similar supervisory role

• Valid and recognized professional diving certification

• Strong knowledge of dive safety, dive operations, equipment, and emergency procedures

• Strong leadership and team-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills

• Willing to live and work in Raja Ampat / remote island location
