Overview of the Position

The Division Manager leads clerk’s office operations, including public counter services, case administration, courtroom functions, chambers support, and other functions in the Wichita federal courthouse. This position manages multiple staff performing a variety of work, coordinates leadership initiatives with a team of managers across the district, provides liaison and communication support to chambers, and performs other professional, administrative, or managerial tasks as needed. The clerk’s office supports 18 federal judges across the district. The Division Manager is a member of the senior leadership team who reports to the Chief Deputy Clerk of Court. This position has a primary Wichita duty station but requires occasional travel within the District of Kansas or nationally for events or training.
