DJ/Entertainer

Overview

Join our family run business (started in 2014) as a DJ- where your creativity and technical expertise will bring events, performances, and productions to life! In this energetic role, you will help with setting up the DJ and sound equipment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

• To play and mix all genres of music e.g. RnB, Hip-Hop, Pop, (essential)
• To play and mix cultural music e.g. Bollywood music ( would be an advantage)
• Set up and operate DJ equipment/ mixing equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events to minimise disruptions
• Collaborate and communicate with production team
• Manage on-site equipment inventory and ensure all gear is properly stored and maintained after use- to always handle all equipment with the utmost care.

Requirements

• Proven experience with DJ for events/ parties
• To play and mix all genres of music e.g. RnB, Hip-Hop, Pop, (essential)
• To play and mix cultural music e.g. Bollywood music
• Encourage and engage with the audience at events
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues during live events with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with Director, team and clients effectively
