DLP Implementation Specialist

Skills Required:

8-10 years of experience in Information Security with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

• Hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Purview Information Protection
• Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Sensitivity Labels
• Information Rights Management (IRM)
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB)
• Strong understanding of:
• Data Classification and Data Governance
• Data Protection and Information Security Controls
• Incident Investigation and Remediation
• DLP Policy Creation, Tuning, and Optimization
• Insider Risk and Data Exfiltration Scenarios
• Experience working with cloud-based security architectures and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise data protection frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with data governance and protection solutions such as:

• Varonis
• Proofpoint Information Protection
• Symantec DLP
• Forcepoint DLP
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, KQL, or security automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Security Ecosystem.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST.
• Microsoft Security, Purview, SC-400, SC-200, or related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
