We have an exciting job opportunity for the role of Deputy Manager HV Component Engineering with our client.

Position: Deputy Manager – HV Component Engineering
Location: Pune
Experience: 10–15 Years
Qualification: B.Tech./M.Tech. – Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Industry: Automotive / EV

Position Overview:-

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in High Voltage (HV) Component Design & Development, JB/BDU/PDU, EV systems, electrical connection systems and electromechanical product development.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead design & development of HV components such as JB, BDU, PDU, relay/fuse boxes and power distribution systems
• Develop solutions for EV/HV systems, power distribution and switching technologies
• Handle RFQ, concept development, technical discussions and customer coordination
• Conduct GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, DVP and design validation
• Work on 3D CAD design, plastic/metal components, DFM/DFA and material selection
• Drive VAVE, cost reduction and manufacturability improvements
• Develop new technologies such as PCB-integrated JB, modular designs and busbar-based solutions
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Guide engineers and develop local R&D/design capabilities

Required Skills:-

• Strong experience in Automotive Electrical / HV Component Design
• Experience in JB / BDU / PDU / Relay & Fuse Box / Power Distribution Systems
• Knowledge of EV/BEV architecture and HV systems
• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 / NX / SolidWorks
• Good understanding of GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, DFMEA, DVP & VAVE
• Knowledge of Wiring Harness, connectors, sheet metal, plastics and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO, JASO, DIN, USCAR, AIAG, ISO 6469-3 and IEC 60664
• Good understanding of EMI/EMC, DFM/DFA and product validation
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
