DMC Operations Manager - Santorini, Greece

We are a leading Destination Management Company (DMC) specializing in inbound tourism and are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Santorini.

The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the daily operational activities of our destination office, managing both Group Travel and FIT (Fully Independent Traveler) operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery and smooth execution of all programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the DMC office.
• Oversee the delivery of all services according to agreed itineraries and client requirements.
• Plan and monitor arrivals, departures, transfers, and transportation services.
• Coordinate excursions, sightseeing tours, activities, and tailor-made travel experiences.
• Handle bookings and confirmations for transfers, tours, and other tourism services.
• Liaise with hotels, transportation companies, guides, local suppliers, and service providers.
• Communicate with tour operator guest service teams, travel agencies, and business partners.
• Ensure operational quality standards and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
• Effectively manage last-minute changes and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate smoothly between reservations, operations, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor service costs and revenues through reservation systems.
• Support invoicing processes in cooperation with the company’s head office in Crete.

Required Qualifications

• Permanent residence in Santorini (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Santorini, its tourism industry, and local supplier network.
• Proven experience in an Operations role within a DMC or inbound tourism company.
• Experience managing both Group and FIT operations.
• Hands-on experience in transportation planning and coordination.
• Experience organizing and operating excursions and tourism activities.
• Good knowledge of reservation systems and tourism operational platforms.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international tour operators and travel agencies.
• Familiarity with itineraries, passenger lists, rooming lists, and operational manifests.
• Experience coordinating local teams and suppliers.
• Additional foreign language skills will be considered an asset.
