DME DELIVERY DRIVER

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable DME Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to customers efficiently and safely. Your safe driving, excellent customer service skills, and commitment to safety will ensure timely deliveries and satisfied clients. Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and cargo vans for delivery routes.
• Load, unload, and secure DME products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Follow designated routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Deliver products directly to customers’ homes or facilities, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper handling of heavy or bulky items.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with product placement, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices document any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform safe lifting practices to prevent injuries during loading and unloading activities.

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience with material handling equipment operation is preferred.
• Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks, courier services, or van driving.
• Familiarity with commercial truck driving and adherence to traffic laws is essential.
• Experience in manual handling, heavy lifting, moving items, and safe lifting practices is highly valued.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and route planning will set you up for success.
• Excellent driving record required.
• Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
