Job Summary
The DME Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, preventive
maintenance, and timely repair of all production machines, utilities, and equipment in the plant.
The role ensures minimum machine downtime and smooth production operations while
maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Maintenance
   o Perform routine maintenance of production machines and equipment.
   o Attend machine breakdowns and ensure quick troubleshooting and repair.
   o Maintain proper functioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
2. Preventive Maintenance
   o Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plant machinery.
   o Maintain maintenance records and logbooks.
   o Ensure machines are cleaned and maintained as per SOP.
3. Equipment Installation
   o Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
   o Ensure proper calibration and testing before operation.
4. Utility Maintenance
   o Maintain utilities such as compressors, generators, HVAC, and water systems.
   o Monitor power supply and electrical panels.
5. Safety & Compliance
   o Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance SOPs.
   o Ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
   o Support compliance with GMP and company policies.
6. Documentation
   o Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and service records.
   o Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports.
7. Coordination
   o Coordinate with production, quality, and other departments to avoid production
   delays.
   o Guide technicians and maintenance staff during repairs.
   Experience

• 25 years of experience in maintenance in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
