Dock Worker

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our warehouse and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing shipments, and helping ensure products move safely and efficiently through the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
• Move, sort, stage, and organize freight throughout the dock area
• Verify shipments and check freight for damage or discrepancies
• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment
• Assist with preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming freight
• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory information
• Keep dock, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices
• Work with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to meet daily shipping schedules
• Perform other warehouse and dock-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, dock, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and move packages and freight throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus

Pay: $22.90 - $27.60 per hour
