As New Zealand’s largest provider of sexual and reproductive health services, we deliver clinics, education, information, and advice nationwide - helping people, online or in person, to make informed decisions about their sexual health and wellbeing.

MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA MAHI - ABOUT THE ROLE

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa have a position available for a Medical Practitioner (Doctor or Nurse Practitioner) to provide services in the area of sexual and reproductive health. This role is for our Tauranga Clinic. This role requires a full range of sexual and reproductive health services including EMA.

Fridays, 8.30am - 5.00pm

Can be flexible with days/times for the right person.

As a Doctor, the successful applicant will have the following:

• Registered Medical Practitioner with the NZ Medical Council.
• Experience in sexual and reproductive health.
• Able to communicate effectively, particularly with young people.
• Preferably vocationally registered in sexual and reproductive health.

As a Nurse Practitioner, we would love to consider you for the role if you have the following:

• Initiative and the ability to anticipate situation, create opportunities to avoid problems.
• Demonstrated skills in the effective management of resources.
• Demonstrated teamwork and networking abilities.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate area of specialist practice with a current APC.
• Relevant Masters Degree and prescribing rights.

This role would suit a doctor or a Nurse Practitioner looking to extend their knowledge of sexual and reproductive and women's health. Full training will be provided.
