Job Description: Reliever Doctor – Medical Mission and Clinic

Position Summary

The Reliever Doctor is responsible for providing medical consultation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate medical advice to patients during medical missions and regular clinic operations. The role ensures continuity of healthcare services by providing temporary medical coverage as needed, maintaining professional standards, and promoting patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations, physical examinations, and initial assessments of patients during medical missions and clinic hours.
• Evaluate symptoms, provide appropriate diagnoses, prescribe medications when indicated, and recommend further diagnostic tests or specialist referrals as necessary.
• Provide basic medical treatment, preventive healthcare advice, and patient education.
• Participate in medical missions by delivering accessible healthcare services to beneficiaries and assisting in community health initiatives.
• Attend to walk-in patients and address routine medical concerns in the clinic.
• Identify emergency cases and facilitate appropriate first-line management and referral to higher-level healthcare facilities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records and consultation documentation.
• Coordinate with clinic staff, nurses, medical mission organizers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Comply with established clinic policies, medical protocols, infection prevention measures, and applicable professional and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties related to medical care and clinic operations as assigned, within the scope of medical practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Doctor in good standing with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Valid and current professional credentials required for medical practice in the Philippines.
• Experience in outpatient consultation, primary care, or community medical missions is an advantage.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, and commitment to patient welfare.
• Willing to provide temporary medical coverage based on the clinic's or medical mission's schedule and operational requirements.

Pay: Php28,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
