Document Control Engineer – Data Centre Construction Project

About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining project documents, drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and other construction records. You will establish and maintain document control procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and traceable document management, and control the issuance, revision, distribution, and archiving of project documents and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and other construction records
• Establish and maintain document control procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and traceable document management
• Control the issuance, revision, distribution, and archiving of project documents and drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely submission and approval of documents
• Monitor document status, approval cycles, and outstanding submissions, and follow up on overdue actions
• Prepare document registers, transmittals, reports, and other project documentation while ensuring proper filing and record keeping

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in document control or construction project administration
• Experience in data centre construction projects is highly preferred
• Familiarity with construction drawings, technical documents, document control procedures, and revision management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage, especially for communication with Chinese-speaking project teams
