Document Control Specialist

Accomack County Public Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Document Control Specialist to manage, organize, maintain, and protect electronic and physical records across the school division. The successful candidate will ensure documents are accurately stored, properly versioned, readily accessible to authorized personnel, and handled in accordance with applicable school division policies and records-management requirements.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Duties:

• Organize and file electronic documents.
• Review and update records as needed.
• Track document changes and versions.
• Scan, upload, and archive documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of school and employee information.
• Assist staff with locating and managing documents.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration, records management, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in document control, records management, administrative support, data entry, or a related field.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay: $23.36 - $25.69 per hour
