Our teams are committed to safety, quality, accountability, and successful project execution.

Position Summary

Brahma Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support an active industrial construction project. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring field crews are working from the most current drawing revisions.

The Document Control Specialist will work closely with project leadership, superintendents, and foremen to manage drawing distribution, remove superseded documents, track revisions, and perform routine field audits. This role requires someone who is proactive, comfortable working directly with field personnel, and committed to maintaining accurate and reliable project records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with each superintendent and foreman on a weekly basis to verify crews are working from the most current drawing revisions.
  • Distribute updated drawing sets and promptly remove superseded drawings from circulation.
  • Maintain a single, reliable source of truth for project documents, drawings, and current revisions.
  • Receive, track, and log incoming client transmittals and document revisions.
  • Proactively track and report which drawing revisions are currently being used in the field.
  • Maintain accurate drawing and document logs throughout the duration of the project.
  • Establish and perform routine drawing-set audits with project superintendents.
  • Implement verification checks to confirm document-control reporting accurately reflects the drawings being used in the field.
  • Communicate drawing changes and document updates clearly and promptly to appropriate project personnel.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between document-control records and field drawing sets.
  • Maintain organized electronic and/or hard-copy project files in accordance with project requirements.
  • Support project management and field leadership with additional document-control needs as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous document control experience within construction, industrial construction, engineering, or a related environment preferred.
  • Experience with PIRS is a significant plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to understand and manage drawing revisions, transmittals, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable communicating and working directly with superintendents, foremen, project management, and client representatives.
  • Ability to independently follow up on outstanding documentation and discrepancies.
  • Must possess a current OSHA 10 certification.
  • Must be willing and able to complete required pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Must be available and committed to remaining on the project through its anticipated completion at the end of the year.

Compensation & Project Details

  • Pay: DOE, up to $40.00 per hour
  • Per Diem: $130 per day
  • Travel In/Out: $120
  • Project Duration: Anticipated through the end of the year

This is a project-based opportunity for an individual who takes ownership of document accuracy and understands the importance of ensuring field teams have the correct information when they need it.
