Document Control Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organized document control system, ensure consistency and compliance

• Create and maintain a centralised filing system, both physical and digital, ensuring all documents are properly indexed, classified and stored for easy retrieval

• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure documents are correctly filed, labelled and stored according to established standards

• Manage the version control process for all documents, ensuring that only current versions are in use and obsolete materials are appropriately removed or archived

• Ensure strict confidentiality and implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive and proprietary documentation

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Records Management, Information Management, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience of at least 3–5 years in records management, document control or a similar administrative role within a professional or corporate environment
• Proficiency in document management software systems and digital filing platforms
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple documents and maintain detailed filing systems
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all record-keeping activities
• Excellent organizational skills
