Document Control Specialist

Richard Design Services (RDS) is currently seeking a Document Control Specialist for a long-term contract assignment at Lotte Chemical in Westlake, LA.

Position Summary:
RICHARD Lake Charles is seeking a responsible, skilled and highly organized Mid-Level Document Control Specialist with a strong background in industrial, chemical, petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, or EPC environments.

JOB DUTIES AND SKILLS:

• Processing and controlling engineering and technical documentation
• Maintaining document registers, revision history, and document status
• Scanning, indexing, archiving, and retrieving controlled records
• Coordinating engineering and contractor deliverables
• Managing engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Supporting project documentation through turnover and closeout
• Supporting audits and responding to documentation requests
• Working with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, EHSS, Projects, contractors, and other stakeholders

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 5+ years of relevant Document Control or technical records experience preferred
• SharePoint
• Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Microsoft Office
• Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
• Engineering drawing/document management
• Document registers, metadata, indexing, and revision control
• Project turnover and closeout documentation
• MOC/PSI documentation experience preferred
• SmartPlant / Hexagon SDx2 experience is preferred
• MOC and PSI Documentation experience is highly preferred
