Document Controller / CAD Operator

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an organized filing and document control system for all projects in Google Drive
• Receive, record, distribute, and track project documents like RS, drawings, submittals, and correspondence
• Maintain project folders and keep hardcopy of all turnover documents
• Prepare, revise, and update CAD drawings based on instructions from Engineers, Architects, Operations Managers, and Design Team
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, layouts and drawing revisions
• Maintain the company's CAD library, templates and standard formats
• Complete and follow up pending requirements needed for billing purposes
• Assist in preparing complete project turnover files
• Compile as-built drawings, test reports, warranties, certificates, permits and other close-out documents
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding close-out requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or other related courses
• 1-2 years experience in document control and/or CAD drafting, preferably in construction
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledgeable in organizing and maintaining project documents and drawings
• Familiar with construction drawings, project documentation, and revisions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple project documents
