Document Controller

About the role

This role involves performing data entry, maintaining accurate records, and managing both hardcopy and digital documents. You will coordinate, check, submit, and distribute quality and technical documents, manage document issuance, revision, distribution, retrieval, and retention, and ensure documents are complete, properly approved, and comply with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Organize and maintain hardcopy and digital documents
• Coordinate, check, submit, and distribute quality and technical documents
• Manage document issuance, revision, distribution, retrieval, and retention
• Ensure documents are complete, properly approved, and comply with internal procedures
• Maintain document registers and control obsolete documents
• Prepare and retrieve documents for internal, customer, and certification audits
• Follow up with relevant departments on document updates and submissions

About you

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of document control, administration, or quality documentation experience preferred
• Manufacturing or engineering industry experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or QMS documentation is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF handling
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accurate records
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
