Job Description:

Document Controller

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller to join our team! In this role you will manage project document control activities, ensuring accurate registration, distribution, tracking and archiving of engineering and construction documentation using electronic document management systems.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Perform document control functions for the project, coordinating document flow between engineering, construction, and support teams.
• Process documents through all procedural steps in line with project requirements, numbering systems, and approval workflows.
• Receive, register, track, and distribute documents; maintain databases and produce logs, transmittals, and reports.
• Scan and archive documents for electronic storage; maintain structured filing and retrieval practices.
• Maintain distribution schedules and expedite review/approval and release of supplier and internal documents.
• Support junior document control staff to ensure consistent implementation of project procedures.
• Contribute as a deadline-driven team player and support ad-hoc project administrative tasks as needed.

What Required Skills You ll Bring:

• Bachelor s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years document control experience in an engineering consulting or project environment.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel) and working knowledge of Windows and document control processes.
• Strong experience in ACONEX is required.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.

What Desired Skills You ll Bring:

• Experience working on large, site-based projects with high-volume document workflows.
