Document Controller

Location : Johor / Klang Valley

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control all incoming and outgoing project documents
• Maintain proper filing and document control systems (electronic and hardcopy)
• Ensure all documents are up-to-date, correctly versioned, and easily accessible
• Distribute documents to relevant parties (clients, consultants, subcontractors, internal teams)
• Track and record document revisions, approvals, and submissions
• Prepare transmittals, reports, and document logs
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements
• Assist project teams in retrieving documents and information when required
• Coordinate with Site Supervisors, Engineers, and Project Managers on documentation matters
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in document control (construction/engineering industry preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and filing skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction or project-based environment
• Knowledge of ISO documentation standards
• Familiar with project documentation (drawings, RFIs, method statements, etc.)
