Document Controller

We are looking for an experienced Document Controller who has worked with a Contracting / Construction Company in UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and control all project documents - Drawings, Shop Drawings, Method Statements, RFIs, Submittals, Transmittals
• Maintain Document Control Register in Excel / Aconex / System
• Ensure all documents have correct revision, approval and distribution
• Upload, download and track documents on Client portals - Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, ProjectWise
• Distribute approved drawings to site and engineering team
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly document reports
• Coordinate with Engineers, QA/QC, Project Manager and Consultant for documentation
• Ensure confidentiality and proper archiving of all project files
• Maintain ISO documentation standards

Mandatory Requirements:

• 2+ Years experience as Document Controller in a CONTRACTING / CONSTRUCTION company - MANDATORY
• Must have handled main contractor / sub-contractor documentation
• Expert in MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe PDF
• Experience in Aconex is MUST - Other platforms like SharePoint / Procore is added advantage
• Good knowledge of construction workflow - RFI, Material Submittal, Drawing Submittal
• Good English communication - written and verbal
• Organized, detail-oriented and fast in system work
• Currently in UAE and can join immediately preferred
• Diploma / Bachelor Degree preferred

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
